Previous: A Court of Thorns and Roses
Now, THIS is what I’m talking about!
Really really good.
Best Chapters
Chapter 54 and 55 (obviously)
Favourite Moments
- When Feyre takes to arms when Velaris is attacked. When she takes down the Attor is priceless.
- Feyre meeting the Weaver for the first time. Going out the chimeney was genius, the greasy hair not that much. It made me think of my dear Baba Yellowlegs.
- Rhysand confesing everything about their relationship and then cabin-time.

Best Quotes
“I wonder if some part of me knew what was waiting for me. That I would never be a gentle grower of things (Elain), or someone who burned like fire (Nesta)—but that I would be quiet and enduring and as faceted as the night. That I would have beauty, for those who knew where to look, and if people didn’t bother to look, but to only fear it … Then I didn’t particularly care for them, anyway. I wonder if, even in my despair and hopelessness, I was never truly alone. I wonder if I was looking for this place—looking for you all.”

“I was looking for you, too,” Rhys murmured. And passed out.
The Court of Dreams. The people who knew that there was a price, and one worth paying, for that dream. The bastard-born warriors, the Illyrian half-breed, the monster trapped in a beautiful body, the dreamer born into a court of nightmares … And the huntress with an artist’s soul.
“To the people who look at the stars and wish, Rhys.” He picked up his glass, his gaze so piercing that I wondered why I had bothered blushing at all for Tarquin. Rhys clinked his glass against mine. “To the stars who listen—and the dreams that are answered.”
My thoughts on Characters
- Feyre: loved her. She’s so sweet and brave. I don’t understand why she gets mad at him after he tells her everything.
- Rhysand: now I understand why he’s everyone’s hubby. He’s sweet and he always puts her first.
- Cassian: Jester of the pack
- Azriel: Introverted one, very watchful.
- Mor: She’s one of my favourite “secondary” characters in a long time. I really like a powerful and sassy woman!
- Tamlin: I would have hit him really really hard with a axe when he appeared on Hyberns. How can he think Feyre will love him when he treats her like a propriety, she’s not a dog. I really really hope he gets what’s coming to him.
- Lucien: I feel like he was a good friend to Feyre in the beginning of the first book but now he is taking the cowards way out. He still follows Tamlin blindly knowing it’s hurting her. I REALLY hope he’s just bidding his time, like I was with Tamlin Under The Mountain, and we already know how that went.
To the people who look at the stars and wish.
